SOoooooo, talking about COPYWRITINGβ¦β¦..
First, in simple words, Copywriting consists of two words— Copy + Writing. Copy means to multiply the same product or results multiple times. And anything which is related to multiplication is probably related to the marketing concept. Believe it or not, Soul of the Marketing is to multiply. Multiply the number of customers, Multiply the number of Sales, Multiply the number of results, Multiply the number of impressions.
In Short, Copywriting is any written material or content which has the ability to multiply the desired result in the market through the power of words.
I only wrote what I thought was good enough. But it did not bring any action, any moment, any multiplication. Hence, failed in my initial copy materials.
Let me tell you a secret to be a good copywriter, you have to face failure, bad copies, and yes realization that it is not all glamorous path.

What materials includes copywriting
Coming back, Copywriting is writing marketing and promotional materials which are persuasive and motivate people to take some form of action, that the writer is targeting. It can ask readers to make a purchase, click on a link, donate to a cause, or schedule a consultation.
Copy materials mainly include written promotions that are published in print or online. They can also include materials that are spoken, such as scripts used for videos or commercials.
The written words in these materials are known as βcopy,β hence writing professionals called these materials and content products as βcopywriting.β
Businesses all over the world are looking or trying to make their customers take action, to make them attractive to buy from them. Not only businesses but any person, any group, or anyone who is communicating in a way to make their targeted person take action is only copywriting.
You see, Copywriting is everywhere.
In fact, if you just start by looking in your electronic mailbox or simply email, youβll find some obvious examples of copywriting. Promotions for local restaurants, catalogs, fundraising letters from charitable organizations, or sales letters for various products and services are all forms of copywriting.
Goal of copywriting
The main goal of copywriting is to create or generate conversion. Some examples are emails, websites, advertisements, catalogues, and others.
Thereβs a lot of confusion out there when it comes to copywriting.
Many people who are new to this word, might think from just hearing its name that it might be about the right of the original creation or a right to publish, distribute and copy a book or photo or music. No, itβs not like that. The above said examples are called copyrights which gives exclusive rights to the owner not copywriting which gives wings to the content to fly high.

The main distinguishing feature of copywriting is your content or creative creations goal.
If it is to make the readers, users or any intended target persona take a specific action, then we can say that it is a copy and is a type of copywriting.
Copywriting can be content writing with the direct goal of making a sale.
Examples of copywriting creatives
Some examples of creatives where copywriting might be found on are:
Website pages
Brochures
Paid ads
Landing pages
Product pages
Hereβs a copywriting example from the website. Itβs actually a popup that displays after a reader has been on the page for a few minutes:
Notice how itβs short, to the point. Thereβs no fluff; instead, it focuses on the benefits and the next action users should take.Β
Summary
I believe that by now, you might have got a little idea of what is copywriting and how to differentiate where the copywriting power is used.
Let me brief once more for you. ( In case you need a little revision, cuzzz repeating a good habit and a good lesson never hurts )
Remember!
The main focus is the Final Goal.
What your words intend to do. What your voice intends to do. What your creatives are intending to do.
If they openly spoke to your end-users to take any action, you are seeing or creating a copywriting piece.
Yesss, Now you get it right.
Copywriting tends to focus on a specific object and result.
Anything which gives results has value,
Anything which gives value has power.
And Anything which has power + value has Money.
